Lucinda's Message

Orozco Reunion Alert  Special

Dear Family,
In case you were not aware we have a family member Adrian Garcia, running for mayor of Houston November 3.  El “primo,” is married to Monica, daughter of Eusebio “Chevo” and Carmela (may she rest in peace) Hernandez.  Who does not remember Carmela, the great cheerleader at the Orozco Reunions who always sat in the front row?  Chevo is the son of Zacarias and Ildifonsa Hernandez and from the Gabino branch of Mercedes and Alejos Orozco
Adrian was a police officer for 23 years and then sheriff for Harris County, the largest county in Texas and third largest in the USA.  And if you are talking large, he joined us for the last two large Orozco reunions and donated one of his hats to the auction.  We  invite all of the Orozco Reunion family in Houston to go out and help make history.  Vote to elect el “ primo “ to become the first Hispanic mayor for the city of Houston.  He will make us proud.  If you are outside the Houston area, your prayers will be just as important.
This is the moment to step up and be counted (literally).  Lets make our family proud.  Vote Adrian Garcia for Mayor of Houston y dale gas!
As mayor, he will have to come to be the keynote speaker at the next Orozco Reunion.  This time maybe he will bring the boots to go with the hat.
Suerte,
Lucinda Murphy
Past Orozco Reunion Co-coordinator
